When Will Spring Arrive...For Real?

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter and a good weekend off with friends and/or family. I've been in detox and I'm happy to say I've been off the(Cadbury)egg for almost 24 hours now....







For the first time in a long time, I have cabin fever. I'm a pretty happy winter person. I enjoy the cold and all that it brings. This year feels different. Are you with me on this? For some reason, my family and I are climbing the walls to get outside and do ...anything. Walk, go to the park or playground, garden, bicycle, play in the sandbox...ANYTHING! This could have something to do with it; this is what I saw when we woke up Saturday morning...making it tough to do that easter egg hunt.



Until we can have two days of nice weather in a row, our son's favorite hangout is in front of the window watching the birds in the birdfeeder. At 18 months, this is like having your own zoo. Blue jays, cardinals, crows, sparrows, a couple of chipmunks and the resident fatty squirrel are his morning entertainment. John's figured out that if he yells, they will fly/run away. I know the days of our little boy being entertained by birds could be over any minute now, so I'm soaking it up while I can.

Are you in spring cleaning mode yet? We are clutter junkies. Especially magazines and books...and books and magazines...and magazines and books. If you have a tip for keeping these things contained, I'm listening.
